Here is a chance to get away from it all and enjoy your next family vacation in a privately owned holiday home. Our apartment is located on the beautiful Orada resort close to Albufeira Marina.

Albufeira is regarded as the holiday capital of the Algarve and we believe the location of our apartment is perfect. Being on the purpose built Orada Apartments resort at Albufeira marina, the apartment is close to the Old town of Albufeira whilst being part of a secure, private and spacious holiday resort. Boating trips along the spectacular Algarve coastline can be booked on the Marina and all major tour companies pick up from Orada. Many children and family days out to locations like Zoomarine, Krazy World and Aqualand Waterpark are all within easy striking distance from Albufeira Marina.

For the adults popular tours are boating excursions along the caves of the Algarve coast where you will hopefully see dolphins. Inland tours to sample the Historical Algarve, Silves & Monchique and Loule produce market, Travel to the most south westerly point in Europe and visit Cape St Vincent at Sagres and the 15th century fortress where the Portuguese discoveries were planned. And to the east the opportunities to visit Tavira and onward to Sevilla and Gibraltar if that takes your fancy.

Our apartment is finished to a high standard as our holiday home. It not only occupies a prime location but is the largest one bed unit on Orada, larger than some two bed units and can sleep 4 persons.

The apartment is situated on the recently built 4 star complex close to the Albufeira Marina just west of the Old Town. The marina has various restaurants and the Old Town is just a 15 minute walk away or short taxi ride. The Orada resort is quiet and peaceful in the late evening making it a perfect location for a family holiday.

Orada is a purpose built holiday and vacation resort with, as you can see, plenty of space for relaxation and sunbathing.

The resort adjoins the new Albufeira Marina and for extra night life, market stalls and hustle bustle the Old Town of Albufeira is just a short walk away. Most of the apartments are privately owned and availability can be very limited in the summer months.

Availability of rental accommodation at the Orada resort is very limited as the majority of homes are privately owned and not made available for rental. Some more basic units are managed by the resort but due to the beautiful layout, fully enclosed secure and envious location, they are quite expensive and fill up quickly.

Our apartment is situated on the central resort area facing the main pool as pictured in the banner at the top of this page. Ample sunbathing is right next to the apartment and the Marina front is just about a 100 metre walk away. The resort is both private and secure yet close to the Marina area and Albufeira Old Town making it a perfect base for a family holiday.

Relaxation for the adults and play time for the children is also nearby with the shallow children’s pool surrounded by ample sunbathing areas.

Pack the cooler box from our apartment with food, drink and chill blocks and set up for the day by the pool or head out to a nearby beach for the day.

We have chill blocks for our guests to use and our apartment has a very useable freezer compartment so don’t worry about bringing chill blocks with you.

Inflatables and toys for the pool can be bought in the little shops on the Marina drive about 100 yards from the apartment.

For those who have limited mobility or walking difficulties, you will be pleased to know that Orada is served by a frequent local “Giro” bus service. The stop is about 50 yards from reception and the service runs every half hour daytime and evening.

The service is inexpensive and runs to just about anywhere in Albufeira and we can email our confirmed guests a Giro bus route map and timetable on request.


		The Marina boasts water sports, restaurants and shopping some offering free internet access to customers so they can browse the internet or keep in touch with home. You can book all those boat trips to caves and attractions, romantic cruises, jet-ski’s, diving and fishing trips right on the Marina. Or if you want to visit the Old Town of Albufeira, hop on the tourist train or enjoy the 20 minute walk along the new promenade.
