The main attraction of the Orada resort is without doubt it’s central pool area which is the envy of other resorts.

Our ground floor apartment looks directly onto this large central pool area which combines ample sunbathing space with adult and children’s swimming areas, not to mention the snack bar if you just want to have a coffee and read a paper.

Reception also has wireless and coin operated internet access, toilet facilities, a reading room and a games room on the lower level.

Orada provides the kind of space you do not find on other resorts. This is because it was purpose built in line with the new Albufeira Marina development to be just that kind of family destination.

The marina wharf, it’s restaurants and various attractions are just 100 meters away and the Old Town of Albufeira a leisurely 20 minute walk or quick bus trip on the frequent Giro service.

Our apartment is both ground floor and end row, bordered by nice shrubs making it extra private. It looks directly onto the main pool and leisure area and is both close to reception and car parking areas.

We are also looking directly onto the childrens play pool and sunbathing area so you can watch the children from our terrace if you desire.

Reception is also close by for those ice creams and toilet facilities to save you running back and forth to open the apartment while relaxing.

Crime rates in the Algarve are very low but security is everyones business. Orada reception is staffed 24 hours and all access points to the resort are monitored by CCTV cameras.

 The Giro bus service stop is just a 50 metre walk from reception with the service leaving every half hour taking you to just about anywhere in Albufeira at a very affordable cost.

All major tour operators pick up from Orada and for an individual trip to a special beach like Sao Rafael there is a taxi stand on the mani Marina drive. See our information page on some local things you may want to pencil in.

The snack bar is part of the main reception building with outside seating on the main pool area. It serves snacks, coffee, alcohol and ice creams.

The reception building also has a reading room with reference material, a games cupboard and a games room on the lower level.

High speed internet access on a coin operated pay per use system and wifi. Wireless internet access cards can also be bought from reception.
